The Depot was to finally re-open its doors at the end of April (then it was May...then September). Work had been going on to expand the venue and huge improvements were planned. Unfortunately the licensing authorities rejected the application on several grounds and the cost of putting these things right, coupled with the legal fees (with no firm guarantee of a license being granted at the end of the process) have made the project financially unviable. In the meantime, as the search continues for a suitable medium sized, multi-room, underground venue, we’ve got to make the most of what’s available.

The first batch of e-tickets for this Saturday’s party at Basement 45 has been snapped up now - this is why some of you haven’t been able to download yours. Don’t worry; another 100 have been allocated, on a first come, first served basis. We’re buzzing - it’s the first club party we’ve done for ages and it’s wicked to have superstar DJ Ed Real playing at our free party. If you’ve already checked out Basement45 you won’t recognise it...the crew will be transforming it into a UV grotto with all the Ripsnorter trimmings! Get there early folks...it’s gonna be chocka!! Boat Party
Thanks to everyone who came and rocked the boat in ship-shape and Bristol fashion. A beautiful day and a lovely vibe – a fitting send off for the BS2 boys heading abroad this Summer, and a smashing birthday for Amy, Malski and Ripsnorter! Next time we walk the plank will be at the end of August landlubbers...
